I picked up my first iPhone in 2013. By the end of the year, my work had been accepted in several juried art shows—and I’d won my first photography awards. Since then, I haven’t looked back!
Today I am a juried Master Photographer at the Cape Cod Art Association and a charter member of their unique Digital Art Group. My fine art has been seen in major juried shows at the Cape Cod Museum of Art and in galleries, art centers, and community venues from Wellfleet to Plymouth.
Over the past few years, my work has expanded to include portrait, event, and custom photography. I’ve worked with area theaters and performing groups, non-profits, publishers, and individuals to capture and edit photos of people, places, and happenings throughout the region.
I’ve discovered that the iPhone is a powerful tool for capturing unique moments in a low-key and unobtrusive manner—and the available editing tools have become as powerful and creative as any on the market. Even better, with the iPhone I can keep my prices reasonable— ideal for smaller events, personal portraits, and non-profit organizations.
